Covid-19 - Blind Date with a Book
Update: March 26th
With the continued uncertainty of Covid-19 we have had to temporarily close our little bookshop in England where we ship Blind Date with a Book from. Unfortunately we cannot accept new orders at this moment but hopefully this situation will pass soon.
Stay safe and take care of each other.
March 24th - Due to the current Covid-19 situation many businesses including ours have encountered unforeseen issues that have never been a problem before.
The most pressing problem that we are currently facing is, that our international mail carrier is no longer able to guarantee delivery of our parcels. For this reason, we have made the very hard decision to suspend the shipping of any orders, that are outside of England.
What does this mean for an order I have already placed?
We hope that all orders that have been shipped out thus far, will indeed arrive at the destination. Please take into account, that these orders may take longer to arrive than initially expected , but that should eventually arrive.
If your order has been placed after the 18th of March, then you will receive an email from us soon regarding a refund for that purchase.
What does this mean for Book Club?
For our international Book Club, we will unfortunately not be sending out the April Book Club as we had initially hoped. We will send out the Book Club parcels as soon as it becomes possible to guarantee delivery of the parcels. Going by current estimations, we hope to do so sometime in April and then subsequent books will ship out as normal.
For our domestic Book Club, we have made the decision to ship out the April Book Club immediately. This is because although domestic mail is currently being shipped, albeit with a small delay, this situation may change without warning, so we wanted to make sure people had a book to read in April. We hope that in subsequent months we can still ship out book club as planned.
We apologise for any inconvenience and ask for your patience and understanding with this.
Stay safe and be kind to one another.
